The World's Largest, Longest and Highest Suspension Bridge

Istanbul The 3.rd bridge is one of the biggest investments in Istanbul in 2016. It is one of the world’s highest and longest suspended bridges with the railway line. It will be a total of 10 transport strip on the 148-kilometer-long bridge. The bridge will be the first in the world due to the level of the rail switch system.

Easing the burden of transit traffic, the reduction of air pollution from traffic, and the reduction of environmental problems in Istanbul is expected with this bridge. A total of 1 billion 785 million dollars (Approximately 1 billion 450 million dollars of energy and 335 million dollars including the loss of labor) in economic losses will be prevented with this bridge.

Crossing from Asia to Europe will be free for the first week on this bridge eagerly awaited by Istanbul which is connecting the two sides together for the third time.

Yavuz Sultan Selim Bridge crossing price was determined as 3 Dollars (+VAT). These fees will be valid until January 2, 2017. The charge of the bridge connecting roads will be per kilometer 8 cents (24 kuruş).

The passage of heavy vehicles and transit travelers Yavuz Sultan Selim Bridge will take over instead of Fatih Sultan Mehmet Bridge with the entry into service of the bridge.
